OAPN Rocked!

OCT 2011: As usual, the OAPN Conference in Columbus was wonderful!  John Latini and Jamie-Sue Seal had a ball showcasing at the Tuesday Luncheon presenting selections from their show "A Night Of Hillbilly Enorsed and Hippie Approved Music!"  A big thank you to Robert Baird from Bam! Artist Management for a wonderful introduction and song, as well as Lydia Ohman, Laurel Canan and Keith Rawlins.  We appreciate all those who stopped by the Smokin' Sleddog Records Booth #28.  See you at APAP in January!

OAPN

Smokin' Sleddog Records is heading to Columbus Ohio for the OAPN Conference on Monday October 24, 2011!  On Tuesday October 25, 2011, the conference attendees will be treated to a showcase performance by the incomparable John Latini and Jamie-Sue Seal duo!  The pair is pleased that their introduction will be made by the highly decorated Robert Baird of BAM! Baird Artist Management of Toronto Ontario.

Thanks Arts Midwest!

Arts Midwest was a joy to attend as usual.  This conference...primarily for presenters and agents is such a treat to attend.  John Latini and I had a great time doing 4 showcases hosted by Mojo and Robin Klinger.  The organizers and committee members put a lot of thought and creativity into this event.  And I love hanging out with my conference buddies Charley Ray from Music City Artists and Robert Baird from BAM! Baird Artists Management (who has also been my invaluable mentor for the past year). These two are like brothers to me (in a good way!)

It was cool that our Smokin' Sleddog Records Booth was neighbors with the fine folks from Patron Technology.  And sweet and silly memories were made hanging out with new friends Jeanette, and my buddies Keith Steinbeck from Janesville Presents, and seeing pals Keith Rawlins from Darke County, Terry Farmer from Mike Green & Associates, David Tamulevich (Roots Agency, now Tamulevich Artist Management), Pogey from Nova Scotia, Sammy (a magician!), Ken Waldman and so many more.

'Til next year~ xo, js.

We Love You New Mexico & Colorado!

John Latini and I were blown away by the enthusiastic response to our music in New Mexico and Colorado!  Must be the hot western sun that makes those folks so warm and welcoming.  We've received many emails and phone calls from people we encountered along the way and from friends we've met on past trips...such kind words and wonderful energy. We sold an entire box of CDs!  Our work is performing, but it was made extra special and fun by our new friends in New Mexico and Colorado. Thank you to Molly's, Corrales Bistro, Old Town Bistro, Salida Cafe, Tri Lakes Arts, Songbird Music Hall and Vistas & Vineyards.

Invitations have been extended and plans for a return visit are in the making for December 2011 and late spring 2012.

p.s. we went horseback riding in the Rio Grande!

Construction Zone! April 2011

Hi Folks,

We're doing some more construction on the website.  This site was supposed to be our temporary home but it seems we will be in our "rental space" a little longer than expected.

So...we have a bit more work to do.  We're in the process of customizing our Artist Roster pages so that everyone can have all of their information on one page.

In the meantime, you can still find information in the Media/EPK section.  If you don't find what you need there, please give us a holler by phone or email.  Smokin' Sleddog Records office 517-651-5487, email; info (at) smokinsleddogrecords (dot com).

See you out there.
